The extraordinary Maddy V returns to Unorthodox alongside founder and punk DnB extraordinaire Nathan X as well as Bugwell, Rani, Curse, Airbender, plus thrilling performances, slay gogos and much more!

Unorthodox is back, and this time, we invite the legendary John B, famed for his track ‘Up All Night’ on Metalhead, to Volks Nightclub. A true Drum & Bass legend, known for his bold looks and unique taste, John B will be gracing the stage with a mind-bending set that will take you on a musical journey. Unorthodox founder and punk DnB extraordinaire Nathan X joins the bill as well as support from Pinks, Bugwell, Clarkus, Klueless, Lerruiq, Bart + more tba!

We are thrilled to announce our highly anticipated return to the capital with our biggest show to date. The event will take place at the renowned queer-centric warehouse style venue, The Colour Factory, located in the heart of Hackney Wick. This marks a momentous occasion for us as we set foot in our new home, following the footsteps of other esteemed queer brands such as Inferno, Howl, Body Movements, Crossbreed, Pussy Palace and many more!

We take over the Green Room at the legendary XOYO for Mandidextrous’ BIG Drum & Bass night in the capital!

We head back to Peckham Audio where BBC Radio 1's Charlie Tee returns to Unorthodox for our summer warm-up show. Nathan X also makes a return to the Unorthodox stage alongside MC Enamie on the mic and our sassy queens ready to slay the house down.

This event we're doing it slightly different, Jungle vs Drum & Bass! DnB has been our primary focus since we began Unorthodox, however we are also avid Jungle, Breakbeat and Footwork fans and we want to shine some light on the queer DJ's who work with those genres.

We are hosting The Tunnel at Motion with a sickening lineup of queer Drum and Bass/Jungle artists, as part of Bitch Please's official Pride Afterparty!

Come down to our first non-lockdown event. It's a brave new world and we want to show you what Unorthodox has to offer. Featuring a fully queer line-up, we'll be exploring the sounds of Drum & Bass, Jungle, Breakbeat, Dubstep, Asian underground and much more. We'll also be featuring our cast of Unorthodox Angels, expect club kids, drag queens and amazing performers.

We are Unorthodox, a new LGBTQ+ Drum and Bass movement, all about pushing boundaries, exploring new territories and bringing cultures together.

Our launch party is here, an exclusive socially distant live-session showcasing UK LGBTQ+ talent. Expect amazing Drum and Bass, creative production, alternative entertainment, drag queens, vocalists, and much more for a night of music like you've never experienced before.
